Our Impact
The Tarrant County APS Advisory Board strengthens the safety net for vulnerable adults by:
- Raising public awareness of abuse, neglect, and exploitation affecting at-risk adults
- Mobilizing community resources to support APS clients with emergency needs (e.g., food, clothing, housing, transportation)
- Educating families, caregivers, and professionals on recognizing and responding to signs of abuse or neglect
- Building partnerships that connect APS with local organizations, donors, and volunteers
- Promoting legislative and community advocacy that protects and empowers elderly and disabled adults
Through collaboration, compassion, and action, we help ensure that vulnerable adults in Tarrant County aren’t just protected — they’re seen, heard, and valued.
